Visitor and Working Holiday

VISITOR / TOURIST (600) VISA

This visa allows the holder to enter Australia:

as a tourist
for business visitor activities
to visit family members
on a tour with a registered travel agent from China
as a frequent traveller from China

The visa holder can stay in Australia for up to 3, 6 or 12 months. Those on a frequent traveller stream can be granted a visa valid for up to 10 years with maximum stay of 3 months per entry.

WORKING HOLIDAY (417 or 462) VISA

This visa is generally for young adults aged 18 to 30 years who want to come to Australia for an extended holiday and to work to be able to fund their stay. They must have passports from eligible countries. This visa is available to citizens aged 18 to 35 years of Canada, France and Ireland.

This visa is valid for 12 months. A second and third working holiday visas may be applied for if the visa holder meets certain eligibility criteria.
